After a productive year of songwriting, and 8 months in the making, Brisbane jazz singer Lauren Lucille releases an all originals album ‘Hidden Here’, which features a superb jazz quartet and a sublime string trio.

Lauren’s songwriting started at the age of ten, and through her teens, Lauren was writing folk and pop songs on guitar and piano. She is now acknowledged by her peers as a great composer and performer and is a finalist in the 2012 QMusic Awards for one of her jazz compositions. She is blessed with a magnificent voice, a sound grasp of harmony and sophisticated rhythmic sense.

Lauren’s current album – which was launched to a sold out show at The Powerhouse Visy Theatre on the 22nd of July, 2012 – showcases her unique talent. It is available in hard copy from this page, or from iTunes in digital form.

I have my debut album ‘Hidden Here’ coming out officially on the 1st of July which is super exciting! It will be available to buy from this site, or you can buy it digitally from itunes. If you’d like it signed, sign my contact form to join my mailing list and buy the album straight from me. The launch is on the 22nd of July at the Visy Theatre (Brisbane Powerhouse) from 7:30-9:30pm. Tickets will be available from the 25th of June. Very exciting!
